Matthew Donahue

Chief Impact Officer

Matt is United Way of Eastern Maine’s Chief Impact Officer and is responsible for leading, overseeing and innovating the organization’s community impact initiatives. He holds Bachelor of Arts in Public Management and Master of Public Administration degrees from the University of Maine. 

Matt joins UWEM from UniversityTickets, where he served as the Director of Client Services since 2015. Prior to joining UniversityTickets, he was a Program Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine, where he still serves on their Board of Directors.  

Matt is a 2013 graduate of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute. He has been an active volunteer for over two decades, including work with Bangor West Little League, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine, the City of Bangor, and United Way of Eastern Maine. In his free time, he enjoys travelling and is an avid sports fan. 

Matt lives in Bangor with his husband, Derek, and sons, Christopher and Owen.
