Fall Day of Caring 2019

Join us for our annual Fall Day of Caring on Friday, October 4th, from 10am-2pm! This is a fantastic opportunity to do good in your community by helping to complete a project that serves people in need. This year, we have three exciting volunteer projects in three different counties, and we’d love to have you there. Bring your family, a team from your office, or come by yourself and make new friends. Spots are filling up fast, so sign up today! Lunch and t-shirts are provided!

In Dover-Foxcroft, we’ll be sprucing up Piscataquis Regional Food Center’s grounds to help create a welcoming space for people receiving food assistance. In Ellsworth, we’re helping Families First Community Center prepare their new family shelter by painting rooms. In the greater Bangor area, we are partnering with the American Red Cross of Northern and Eastern Maine to reduce fire related deaths by installing free fire alarms for families in need. Pick your project, get all the details, and register on VolunteerME to reserve your spot!

Please feel free to reach out to Meredith Alexander with any questions.

A huge thank you to our generous sponsors the Maine Commission for Community Service & the Volunteer Generation Fund.
