United Way, with the personal support from UMaine Black Bear
football Coach, Jack
Cosgrove and his team, are leading an effort
to help recruit more than 1,000 volunteer mentors, tutors and readers over the
next three years. We hope you will consider joining the effort!
To learn more about the mentor, tutor and reader programs in our area, click on the documents below or call United Way at (207)941-2800.
Take the first step to becoming a mentor, tutor, or reader - research shows that one of the best ways to positively impact a child, youth or adult in need is through a quality relationship. We hope you’ll participate and find out that as a volunteer, you'll not only help, but gain a tremendous amount yourself!
