Complete the Camp Bangor Application Form. Applications will be distributed through your child's classroom in February and also will be available through your child's school principal. Return the completed and signed application form to your child's school as soon as possible, but before April 24, 2009.

Research the camps your child is interested in attending. Come to the CAMP FAIR in February and then use the Camp Directory handed out through your child's school classroom in MID-MARCH. You also can use the Camp Directory that United Way has provided a list of camps to help start you on your search for the right camp experience for your child.  However, please remember that United Way does not own, operate, manage, certify, endorse, license, evaluate, monitor, or select the camp that you and your child choose to attend.  It is your responsibility to closely examine any camp that your child may potentially attend.

Wait for 2009 Camp Selection Form and Participation Cards. Within three to five weeks of returning the application to the school principal for approval, your child will receive a Camp Bangor Selection Form and Participation Cards through the mail.

Sign up directly with summer camps. Give camps the appropriately dated Camp Bangor Participation Card. These cards are not vouchers, but act to hold your child's place at camp(s). You should then fill-out the Camp Bangor Selection Form and return it to United Way no later than May 15, 2009. United Way will reimburse camps directly.

Enjoy camp! When summer arrives, watch your child unlock his/her potential and discover the world through his/her summer camp experience!
