What does it mean to
Through its partnerships, generous donors and work in community impact, United Way of Eastern Maine advances the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for us all. Our work is less about helping one person at a time and more about changing systems to help all of us.
Using donor dollars, we are creating long-lasting changes that address current issues in our community. United Way's Community Impact work focuses on four Impact Areas identified as areas of greatest concerns in the community.
By making an undesignated donation to our community fund, you WILL make an impact in the five counties of Eastern Maine, and help individuals and families in need have access to services that improve their lives. (Give Now!)
Underneath everything we are, underneath everything we do, we are all people.
Connected, interdependent, united.
...and when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all.
That's what United Way means when we say LIVE UNITED.
United Way of Eastern Maine invites you to LIVE UNITED.
Give. Advocate. Volunteer. (Volunteer now!)
