Here at United Way of Eastern Maine, 
we're working to create lasting change by mobilizing the caring power of our communities toward the effects of a better education, improved financial standing, and a higher quality of health for our neighbors.
Many people who live and work in Eastern Maine face tough challenges on a daily basis - some may not know where their next meal is coming from, while others have a strong need for a Mentor, Tutor, or Reader. The need for a helping hand is not limited to adults either. There are young children who do not have enough food on the weekend and are going hungry.
We're all in this together. Let's make a difference for our neighbors.
